CMD Sports was founded in 2020 by Matt Barrenger and Danny Walk, two Australians who couldn't find the baseball and basketball gear they wanted at home. They set out to fix that themselves, and it has shaped everything CMD Sports has built since. The business remains Australian-owned and operated.

Our Specialty: Baseball and Basketball

Baseball and basketball are where we focus, and where we know the most. We're an authorised Australian reseller for Rigorer, Birdman Bats, Marucci and Victus, and hold an exclusive Australian partnership with TUCCI. These are brands serious players ask for by name, and brands most Australian retailers don't carry.

We're also a Baseball Victoria Diamond Partner, the highest partnership tier with the sport's peak state body. Alongside our baseball and basketball range, we stock fan gear and accessories across other sports too.

Custom Teamwear for Every Sport

Teamwear is a separate side of the business, and it isn't limited to baseball and basketball. We produce custom uniforms and kit for clubs and teams in any sport, using sublimation printing and embroidery, with low minimum order quantities so smaller clubs aren't priced out.

Ordering team kit is usually one more job on top of someone's day job. We handle the design, send proofs to approve, and can set up a hosted online store so players order and pay directly. We work with clubs and associations across Australia on this, and it's one of the fastest growing parts of what we do.
