Concrete courts leave a film of dust on a basketball, and that film is what makes the ball slip out of your hands late in a session.
The cover on the RG 800 Ultra carries around 120 tiny pellets moulded into each pebble, so dust drops into the grooves between them rather than sitting on the surface your fingers touch. Rigorer's DynaFric grip technology handles the moisture side: the microfibre PU draws sweat off the top layer and lets it evaporate, so the grip stays steady as your hands warm up. That same cover is soft enough for a stadium floor, so one ball covers indoor training and a hit at the park.
Rigorer had the ball impact tested to the Chinese national standard for competition balls, GB/T 14625.3-2008, at 50,000 impacts against a hard board. The report records no cracking, peeling or deformation afterwards, and an internal pressure loss of 2.7 percent. For reference, the RG-600X in the same range is rated to 20,000.

Shipping and delivery
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping costs depend on the size and weight of your item and are shown at checkout before you pay. Larger and heavier items cost more to send.
We ship to all Australian states and territories, and to New Zealand. For some items we can ship further afield. If your location isn't available at checkout, email customercare@cmdsports.com.au and we'll let you know what's possible.
You'll get tracking as soon as your order is on its way.
We're an online store, so there's no customer collection point. Every order ships from our warehouse.
Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to return an item for change of mind or a wrong size, as long as it's unworn and in original condition with all tags and packaging. Return postage is at your cost, and we cover sending an exchange back out to you. Clearance items are final sale.
Faulty or incorrect items are covered under Australian Consumer Law. We'll replace, credit or refund, and we cover the postage both ways.
There's no drop-off point, so returns come to us by post. To start one, lodge it through your CMD Sports My Account page and we'll email you the return address once it's approved.
