The rim graphics, the 8-loop 3-ply nylon net and the 5 inch ball all charge under normal light and glow once it's dark. Underneath the effect it's a proper mini hoop: an 18 x 12 inch clear polycarbonate shatter-resistant backboard and a 9 inch spring-action break-away steel rim that takes a dunk and springs back.
